"A Christmas Romance: Becoming One" | Christmas Tales
A Christmas romance reaches its destiny.
Washington, D.C.
After Niccolò revealed that his Christmas gift to me was twofold, a name necklace and an electronic key to his home, we had been inseparable since the ballet.
After he asked me to be his woman, we built an emotional connection without physical intimacy, an entirely new and profound experience for me.
Before, men had always sought to claim my body first, before even knowing my personality or character. I am grateful that he led our relationship with emotional depth, taking the time to truly know me, as I did him. After all, once souls intertwine, who can say whether they will truly understand or cherish one another? According to the Bible, marriage is sacred, and God is against fornication. It all makes sense, intimacy is meant for marriage, where two souls unite and become one.

Travel to Rome, Italy
With our connection deepening, we stepped into the next chapter of our journey. We flew from Washington, D.C. to Rome, Italy for a brief yet meaningful visit to meet Niccolò’s family and attend General Julius Caesar’s grand New Year’s Eve celebration.
Upon arriving in Italy, we settled into Niccolò’s parents’ home. His mother, warm and affectionate, greeted me with kisses and playful pinches on my cheeks. His father, though reserved, exuded kindness and quiet strength, his presence reassuring and sincere.
Our welcome lunch was held at the renowned Cipriani’s restaurant, where Niccolò’s family and friends greeted me with open arms. Amidst the lively conversation and celebratory toasts, I discovered my newfound love for Antipasto, an indulgence so irresistible I simply couldn’t stop myself from overindulging!

Casual Attire for Caesar’s Soirée
After lunch, we returned home to prepare for the grand New Year’s Eve soirée at General Caesar’s estate.
I always embrace femininity, favoring a dress or skirt over pants. This time, I chose an elegant A-line red skirt paired with a crisp white blouse. My feet, adorned with black strappy sandals and polished black nails, looked exquisite. The final touch? A spritz of the finest Italian perfume by Dolce & Gabbana and my Christmas gift from Niccolò, the “Mia” necklace, which also serves as an electronic key to his home.
Niccolò opted for a pair of jeans, a crisp white shirt, black slacks, and leather Ferragamo loafers, effortlessly sexy.

General Julius Caesar's Guests
General Julius Caesar’s gathering was a spectacle of intellect and artistry, his guests an extraordinary mix of philosophers, artists, and statesmen.
Niccolò held my hand, guiding me through the grand estate as he introduced me to his most trusted colleagues. Among the philosophers stood Thomas Aquinas, Maria Montessori, Parmenides, and Antonio Gramsci, their minds brimming with wisdom. The artists included Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio, Donatello, Leonardo da Vinci, Sandro Botticelli, and Giacomo Puccini, a constellation of creative brilliance. Then, Niccolò led me to a peculiar politician named Marcus Brutus. His energy was cold and distant, sending a quiet shiver through me. It was exhilarating to be among such brilliant minds, engaging in conversations that ranged from thought‑provoking ideas to profound artistic expression.
Niccolò’s colleagues were as captivating as they were pleasant, their presence shaping an evening rich with intellect and intrigue.
The feast was nothing short of regal, an endless spread of exquisite dishes, fine drinks, and decadent desserts fit for a king. Naturally, my newfound favorite, Antipasto, graced the table, adding to the night’s indulgence.

Marriage Proposal Amidst Fireworks
As midnight approached, we gathered outside to witness the dazzling fireworks.
Niccolò pulled me into his arms and whispered, “Will you marry me, Mia?”
“Yes, of course, my love,” I replied, my heart pounding with joy.
Then, he gently slipped a one‑carat emerald‑cut diamond ring onto my left hand, it fit perfectly.
“You told me you wear a size 7 ring. I remembered, Mia,” he said with a tender smile.
“I love you, Niccolò,” I whispered, my eyes swelling with tears.
“Tonight, we will consummate our love. I adore and cherish you, my darling,” he murmured.
As the fireworks illuminated the night sky, he kissed me passionately, sealing the promise of our future.
At last, I thought, my years of loneliness were finally over.
