"Archaic Angel's Message" | Christmas Tales

I was deep in slumber when my bladder decided it was time for me to wake up.

My Bladder:
Mia, it’s urgent! You need to get to the bathroom now!
 
.....
 
As I groggily opened my eyes, an ethereal figure hovered in the narrow hallway beside my bathroom—a luminous presence unlike any I had seen before.
 
.....
 
Mia:
Hello there, Angel!
 
Archaic Angel:
Greetings, Mia. I trust you had a restful night.
 
Mia:
I did, thank you! But if you’ll excuse me, I really need to use the bathroom. With all due respect, what brings you here, Angel?
 
Archaic Angel:
You don’t need to rush. That urgency you felt was me communicating with your mind while you slept.
 
Mia:
Oh… I see. So, what brings you here?
 
Archaic Angel:
Mia, God has sent me with a message for you. He wants you to deliver a sermon on cable news channels, warning humanity that His next judgment will not be a pandemic but something far more severe—the destruction of the Earth, like in the days of Noah.
 
Mia:
Wait—me!? Are you certain I’m the right person for this mission?
 
Archaic Angel:
God does not make mistakes, Mia.
 
Mia:
Alright... but how am I supposed to get on cable news to give a sermon?
 
Archaic Angel:
Today, a representative from a cable network will approach you.
 
Mia:
Understood.
 
Archaic Angel:
You will deliver your sermon on Christmas Day.
 
Mia:
I see. Well, it was nice meeting you, Angel.
 
Christmas Day: Mia’s Sermon
 
Mia:
 
Let me be clear—God is fed up with humanity’s racism, immorality, greed, hatred, and injustice.
God has been patient, but He grows weary of humanity’s continued defiance against Him and His son, Jesus Christ.
 
It’s time to turn away from these destructive behaviors and rebellion.
 
God allowed the pandemic to capture your attention, and tragically, many lives were lost. If we do not change, the next judgment will be far more severe!
 
Can we please stop being cruel to one another?
 
Repent and turn from wickedness! Seek God while you are alive, because once you are dead, your spirit will dwell in Hell, unable to reach Him!
 
I am young, I do not want to die yet!
 
Oh, and just so you know—God loves you.
 
You are worthy to be praised, God!
 
Thank you, Jesus!
 
Hallelujah!
 
Amen!

Peace on Earth, goodwill toward men.

Man’s Continued Wickedness
 
Despite the warning, humanity persisted in its defiance, immersed in greed, hatred, and rebellion against God and His son, Jesus Christ.
 
One Year Later: The Archaic Angel Returns
 
Archaic Angel:
 
“Mia, in two days, God will send fire and brimstone upon the Earth. Mankind has ignored His call, continuing in wickedness, racism, and rebellion.”
 
“Because you are a believer, baptized in Jesus' name, and received the Holy Spirit at your conversion during baptism, you will not witness the day of destruction. Tonight, as you sleep, your spirit will return to God.”
