"Catwoman's Confession" | Cozy Halloween

Backstory

Mia, secretly known as Catwoman, has finally decided to reveal her true identity to her boyfriend, Bernardo Williams, a CIA secret agent. Anxiety overwhelms her as she wonders whether Bernardo will stand by her side or abandon her once he discovers the creature she has become after being scratched by an evil cat that cursed her with feline abilities and a predatory appetite.
 
Before the reveal, Catwoman recounts her workday as Spokeswoman for the President of the United States at the White House on Pennsylvania Avenue in Northwest Washington, D.C.

Timeline Leading Up to Catwoman’s Secret Reveal

6:00 AM
I awoke for work and offered my morning prayers to Bastet, the ancient Egyptian goddess of cats.

6:30 AM
Breakfast consisted of a saucer of water and milk, one plump mouse, and three crunchy cockroaches.

7:00 AM
I dressed for work in my CHANEL skirt suit, black pointed‑toe pumps, and a white pearl necklace.

7:30 AM
I leaped from rooftop to rooftop to reach the White House.

8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
I spent the morning in meetings, drafting speeches and remarks for the President, and managing a flood of classified and unclassified emails. I also prepared remarks for the President’s annual Children’s Trick‑or‑Treat and Book Giveaway festivities on the South Lawn.

12:00 PM
I sent a Microsoft invite asking Bernardo to join me for dinner and help hand out candy to trick‑or‑treaters. He accepted.

1:00 PM
Lunch: lizards, a few insects, water, and milk.

2:00 – 4:30 PM
More meetings, more emails, a one‑on‑one with the President to review his Halloween remarks, and approval of his vampire costume.
All the while, I couldn’t shake the fear that humans might discover I was Catwoman.

5:00 PM
I began my journey home, leaping gracefully from building to building.

6:00 PM
A light snack of small worms satisfied my mild hunger.

6:30 PM
After freshening up, I slipped into an alluring black dress and added a touch of red Revlon lipstick. Red strappy sandals adorned my feet, and the scent of CHANEL Nº5 Perfume lingered in the air as I eagerly awaited Bernardo’s arrival.

7:00 PM
Bernardo arrived, punctual as always.

The Big Reveal

Mia: “Hello, my love. How was your day?”

Bernardo: “Hectic and stressful, darling. And yours?”

Mia: “My day went well, honey. But there’s something I need to confess. I have a secret.”

Bernardo: “A secret?”

Mia: “Yes, my dear. I am Catwoman.”

Unfazed, Bernardo reveals a secret of his own.
 
Bernardo: “Mia, I, too, have a secret. I am Batman.”
 
Catwoman playfully licks Batman’s face before exclaiming:
 
“Meow!”

A Spooktacular Evening

They enjoyed a dinner filled with their favorite foods and drinks: mosquitoes, mice, insects, ocean water, beetles, flying ants, moths, lizards, worms, and Purina Cat Chow.
 
Afterward, they greeted trick‑or‑treaters at the door before settling in for the night.

Intersecting Worlds — Catwoman’s Heists and Batman’s Justice

Later that night, while Bernardo slept, Catwoman slipped away to steal dresses from the CHANEL boutique inside the Willard Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C. She moved like a whisper, her silhouette gliding across marble floors, her claws tapping lightly in the dark.
 
By the time she returned home, Batman was gone, off stopping a Halloween candy heist at Macy’s, using his CIA spy gear to protect the world’s most exquisite chocolates: Godiva.
 
Catwoman curled up on the windowsill, moonlight spilling across her new dresses.

“He fights crime… I steal couture… somehow, it works,” she said with a sly smile.

And with a flick of her tail, she disappeared into the night, mischief far from over.
