Gangster of Souls — Part I & II

This is the tale of the Gangster of Souls — a chilling story that must be told.

On October 31, as darkness falls, the Gangster of Souls answers the call.

The taking of souls soon begins as shadows creep and the night draws in.

In the fading light, bats rise to the sky, wings beating as they soar and fly.

The full moon glows a blood‑red hue, and the Gangster of Souls comes into view.

With an army wicked and bold, the Soul Takers gather, their hearts cold.

Carrie the Nun, Michael Myers, It, and Freddy Krueger stand among them.

Chucky and Jason join Hannibal, Pinhead, and Norman.

The Joker laughs, Morticia stays grim, and Medusa and the Sirens slither near.

Witches and Sorceresses join the fright.

The Bride of Frankenstein steps into the night.

And Voldemort lurks with schemes so vile, this army of darkness will make you recoil.

Their bold assault begins with glee, hunting the souls of those roaming free.

In costumes they wander for treats and tricks — but beware, the darkness is full of sick tricks.

Be vigilant now, for danger is near.

The Gangster of Souls prowls, spreading fear.

His hunt begins… on Halloween Night.

You have been warned.

Take heed… lest your soul become part of the evil breed.

Part II — Soul Takers

On Halloween Night… long ago…

I stopped by the market and bought several bags of chocolate candy bars — enough to fill an entire pumpkin‑head bucket for the little boys and girls who might knock on my apartment door. But this wasn’t just candy.

No… this chocolate was a shield — a protection against the Soul Takers and the Gangster of Souls.

Every child who ate a chocolate bar — dressed as a ghost, goblin, witch, or vampire — received an invisible mark on their forehead. A seal placed by The Good Soul Keeper. A mark that stopped the Soul Takers from possessing their souls… and kept them from turning into real demonic monsters.

Halloween night arrived.

And not a single knock came to my door. I knew what that meant. The Soul Takers were already roaming the city… snatching souls… and the children needed protection. So I acted.

I put on my Halloween outfit — a long black maxi dress, pointy‑toe pumps, Revlon red lipstick, a bold black mole, a wide‑brimmed witch’s hat, and long black press‑on nails. Then I rushed out the door, jumped into my black Volkswagen Tiguan, and drove into the night.

A mile up the road, I saw them — a crowd of kids and parents walking together.

I parked, stepped out, and blew my horn wildly until they turned. Holding up two pumpkin buckets filled with chocolate, I shouted:
“Hey, you little ghouls, goblins, witches, vampires, and ghosts — come to me! I have chocolate candy for you!” They ran toward me with excitement, pumpkins in hand. I filled every bucket to the brim!

And as each child took a bite… I saw it — The Good Soul Keeper’s invisible mark glowing faintly on their foreheads. Their souls were saved!

My mission was complete.

And then… my supervisor — Michael the Archangel, the warrior angel — summoned me back to Heaven.

Next year, I hope to be assigned to Earth again.There are always more little souls to protect.
