Since the 1100s, the institute has preserved thousands of dresses, jewelry pieces, and fashion accessories for men, women, and children. Maintaining this historic collection is costly, and the gala plays a vital role in keeping the institute alive.
 
The Grand Finale of the Monster Gala takes place at the Metropolitan Monster Museum of Art, inside the Monster Costume Institute, in the heart of Washington, D.C. This venue hosts the concluding the annual Monster Gala of event, held at the prestigious Monstrosity Auction House.
 
This celebrated charity event is hosted by Count Dracula, who is deeply committed to supporting the Monster Costume Institute and ensuring its continued success.

After a captivating entertainment segment, monster celebrities, the rich and famous, and leaders of the monster fashion world make their way to the Monstrosity Auction House. Count Dracula, however, does not accompany them.
 
Inside the auction house, guests eagerly prepare to bid on an array of items: fine art, collectibles, vintage haute couture, and antique jewelry crafted by both living and deceased monster fashion designers.
 
Monstrosity’s Auction House is renowned for its professionalism and its long history of raising significant funds for the Monster Costume Institute. This year’s auction features one hundred items.
 
All monster guests have pre‑registered and received their bidder numbers, allowing them to participate immediately.

After the infamous dinner at the Monster Gala, Count Dracula contacts each guest privately. He reveals that he possesses secretly recorded videos and audio capturing their misdeeds and hidden truths from the dinner event.
 
He uses this evidence to blackmail them, ensuring they bid high and bid often. Given Count Dracula’s power and influence, no one dares to ignore his threats.

Unbeknownst to the guests, Count Dracula arrives at the auction house before them. He is quietly escorted to a private room where he can observe the bidding without being seen.

The auction begins the moment the Monster Gala guests arrive.
 
The auctioneer’s voice booms through the room as he calls out bids, captivating the crowd of eager monsters. Alongside the live bidders, online, telephone, and private bidders join in.

With Dracula’s blackmail weighing on their minds, some monsters bid outrageous amounts. The live bidders, mostly the blackmailed dinner guests and other wealthy monsters—outbid the online, telephone, and private bidders, much to Dracula’s satisfaction.
 
Live bidders contribute one million dollars through their bids on fine art and jewelry.

Online bidders contribute two million dollars, focusing exclusively on jewelry.

Telephone bidders contribute three million dollars, bidding on antiquities and jewelry.


Private bidders contribute four million dollars, bidding on vintage haute couture from the Adolphus Werewolf Gothic Black collection and other designers.

Just as the auction is about to conclude, the auctioneer announces an unexpected final item. The audience buzzes with curiosity.
 
It is a set of pure silver cufflinks, the very same cufflinks Count Dracula wore on the Black Carpet. Dracula donated them himself. They were a gift from a past lover!

The auctioneer begins the bidding:

“Five hundred thousand. Do I hear five‑fifty?”
A live bidder raises their card: 550,000.
An online bidder counters: 600,000.
A telephone bidder jumps in: 650,000.
A private bidder raises to 700,000.
 
The room erupts as the bidding war intensifies.
 
Dracula leans forward, intrigued by this private bidder.
 
The live bidder returns with 700,000.
The online bidder counters with 750,000.
The telephone bidder drops out.
The private bidder raises again: 800,000.
“Going once… going twice… sold to the private bidder!”
 
The gavel slams.
 
The private bidder is revealed to be Witch Ophelia!
 
She once had a romantic history with Count Dracula. She had gifted him those silver cufflinks long ago, and now, driven by jealousy over his marriage to Mia Z. Edwards‑Dracula, she wanted them back.
 
Count Dracula discovers the identity of the bidder and is stunned.
