"Anya!?" Meredith said in exclamation.

The Stranger in question, Anya turned to see Meredith.

"Merdith!? Oh honey! It's been ages!" Anya ran to rush her old friend

The two friends then sat down, Talked and reminisce about the past. Their Orders arriving at their table.

"I see you're still ordering the half and half cream with two cups of sugars." Anya Mused

Meredith joked back. "and I see you're still drinking Hibiscus and Cream? I don't see how you can drnk that stuff! It's so grainy!"

Anya shot back."That's because you haven't drained it! It's smooth when you kow what you're doing!"

Meredith then got quiet. "Listen, Anya. I'm sorry I ran off like that. I know my confession was heavy and then me running off like I did? I was so worried you saw me as a freak and that you didn't want to be my friend anymore."

anya took Meredith's smooth, aged hands."Mer. It's my fault for freaking out like that. I didn't mean to make you run off like that. I was just... scared. about what people will think. bout what they were goig to do to us. I shouldn't have made you think we didn't want to be friends."

Tears welled up in Anya's eyes. "I shouldn't have made you face what you were going through alone."

Meredith with teas welling in her own eyes, took her Red headed friend's calloused hands in return. "An. It's okay. I found a wonderful woman. We've had children, and I'm going to be a grandma!" Meredith smirked in pride

Anya screamed with excitement! "AH! GRANDCHILDREN, MER!? TELL ME EVERYTHING!"

Meredith laughed "Will do. But first, please tell me wow have you been from all these years!."

Anya chuckled. "Well pretty lady! I was married. I have three wnderful daughters. And I'm a grandmother of 2, myself."

Meredith tilted her head to the side. "Was?"

Anya gave a sad smile. "Yes. Unfortunately I am a widowed now. He passed away from a hit and run."

Meredith clasped her hands over her mouth. "Oh An, Honey, I'm so sorry!"

Anya just nodded."Oh, it was years ago. I'm alright now, but there was a time I couldn't getby a whole day without breakig down and crying."

Meredith nodded, not knowing what to say.

Anya continued. "Don't get me wrong, there are still days where I break down thinkiing about him, but I can honestly say, that I'm better."

Meredith took anya's hands again. "Oh An. I'm so sorry I wasn't there."

Anya grapsed Meredith's hands with her own. "It is fine, Mer. I understood if you were angry at me. But as I said I'm better now.I have my health. I have my family, children adn grandchildren. And I have my friends." Anya winked as she said friends. "But enough about me, Mer, You said you were going to be a grandmother, yourself?"

Meredith smiled at her old friend."Anya Brooks,I have so many more things I need to tell you."

Anya Smiled back. "Meredith Lonon. I have all the time in the world."
