In the skies a terror had shown itself. It had appeared out of the clouds like a dark wraith of vengeance to swoop down upon the helpless victims of the village.

         The first screams of terror started by the women of the village. Children ran in all directions with no guidance as to where they should go.

         The elderly folk just went into their homes and closed the doors. They were too tired of rushing around half the time when nothing ever happened.

         Young men of the village shouted for everyone to scatter and head into the hills to take cover in the caves.

         Ages ago there was a dragon attack upon the village. Everyone knew they story, but no one was still alive that had witnessed such an event. It happened before anyone that lived in the village was born. So long ago it was more myth than fact.

         Although there was a dragon far away and headed toward the village. It would be there soon.

         Fear had everyone in a panic and people ran into each other. People yelled for something to be, done about it. Should they fight it off? Would it burn the village to the ground? Can they escape such a creature? No one really knew what to do. Villagers slipped in the mud from the rain during nightfall.

         Today however, was an overcast day but grew gloomier as the dragon came closer. It had dropped lower in the sky now and the fear of it using its fire stirred even more panic among everybody.

         Children were now crying. Mothers scurried holding their babies to their bosoms. Men held pitchforks like weapons. All would be useless against a force as powerful as a beast like a dragon.

         One man stood there and watched the commotion. He tried to tell everyone that dragons were not dangerous to humans unless people invaded a dragon’s den. Then one would experience dragon fire. Dragons never eat people, just livestock. That they do not go around burning villages.

         People would not listen. They ran into each other. There were only thoughts of escape on their minds.

         The dragon came closer. It was a frightening sight to witness. Giant wings flapped. A huge screeching roar bellowed from its throat which set the villagers into further panic.

         Then it happened. The dragon flew over the village. It was a massive creature even though it was so high in the sky. It cast its shadow which covered a good portion of the village and its homes. The sound of its wings was loud and momentarily drowned out the sound of people screaming.

         Suddenly in the dragon’s passing the people became soaked in urine and piles of shit smashed into a house collapsing it to the ground and one of the villager’s happened to get, crushed in the streets by a pile.

         As the dragon flew away from the village not even bothering to notice the skirring humans, the village idiot wished that dragons could not fly.

Now, was that a shit show or what! Such a silly story but funny as hell and I sure hope I’m the only one who has written such nonsense.
