Reagan’s life hadn’t been so easy. She’d come to love herself though. She’d been openly Lesbian for the last few years. It was Harper that loved her for who she is

Reagan had been openly Lesbian for the last few years. She’d placed her dad in an Assisted Living Facility before moving away. His Dementia diagnosis, comments he’d made, and argument they had left her unwilling to do nothing more other than doing what she’d done. She knew she wouldn’t be able to give him the care he needed long term either way. She’d begun dating after the move. Far more than she’d ever done back home. She’d been primarily celibate while living back home. She’d had nothing but bad experiences while there. People who who’d let their actions speak. People had been cruel to each of them. They’d come to not care as time went on. People are going to have opinions no matter what.

Harper first Long Term Relationship. She’d been uneasy about it at first. It’s as an unfamiliar territory for her. She’d not really been in a relationship with a Woman before. They’d gotten intimate more than once before the relationship started. A way of breaking barriers both hadn’t realized they’d put up. They’d grown close over their shared experiences. Romantically and otherwise. They’d connected far more than they ever thought as a result. Shared experiences they’d begun using to better themselves. Both of them agreed to have open communication.

Harper understood Reagan’s issues. In some way she understood all of them. It’d been one of the many things they’d bonded over. Their issues had traumatized them in some way. They’d done everything but cope with them. Even though they’d told others they’d been coping in some way. Each had buried everything and gone on with life instead. They’d helped each other move through their respective issues. A different perspective that’d helped them see it hadn’t been a big deal after all. It’s part of life that is now in the past.

Both found a balance in whatever way that looked like. and let go of past. Their respective traumas included. Trauma that came because of others and their insecurities. Things that didn’t have any affect on their life over time. Things Harper and Reagan realized was the other persons problem. They’d been able to let go easier than they’d thought. Comments from people that’d not practiced what they’d preached. Comments to pray the Gay away. That it was just a phase. Both had known from a young age they liked girls. That people would have opinions that were just that. Opinions. Both were happy together. People saw the love they had for each other. Both were far happier than before.

Both were happy for once. In a happy in relationship. People said they had the perfect relationship. There were no secrets. The open communication was admired by everyone. “It’s simple” being their only response. Be transparent. Say whats on the mind. Share what feels good. Who is doing what for dinner. Who is doing the laundry or cleaning up. A mundane life like any other couple. A rhythmic balance they’d acquired by communicating. Their souls recognized each other as soulmates far more than ever before as time went on.
