The Cursed Tarot Deck
Something's wrong with this Tarot deck! Bizarre story of a tarot card that has a peculiarly animated tarot card of you know who.
The fortune teller was about to use the Tarot cards to tell their fortune. The couple anxiously awaited the results, but when she went to lay out the cards, there was a problem. She went to select a card to find there was a surprise waiting within. As soon as she put a hand on the card, the deck flipped over and split down the middle. The card showing had the Devil glaring back up at her.
Suddenly, the Devil on the card popped up expanded like an animated character. The head and torso of the character was seen in 3D form. It began to laugh at her and taunt her. “You don’t know what you’re doing. Do you think you can see the future? Do you know what you’re giving up? How can you keep doing this stuff? You’re pathetic,” he said.
It kept on taunting and laughing at her until she stood up and excused herself. “Excuse me, I cannot work under these conditions. That deck is cursed.” She was about to leave when a man in the room came over to the table.
“Let me try,” he volunteered. He picked up the deck, shuffled it, and then set the deck on the table. As soon as he tried to pick a card the same thing happened.
“Did you really think you could actually make a difference? You people are pathetic. You should really give up. I’m not going away,” the Devil told him. He quickly shuffled the deck to make the devil remain back inside and back away. Still, an evil laugh emanated from within the cards.
They handed the deck to other volunteers who tried the same thing to no avail. Every time they went to select a card, the Devil appeared and began to taunt and curse anyone who touched the deck. The people stopped coming forward to try to help.
“I never should have gotten that deck online! It was so cheap on eBay, I thought I could save money. Next time I am buying a new one,” the fortune teller remarked excitedly.
At that, the deck split open on it’s own and once more the Devil partially popped out of the card. “Do you really think that would help? You’re messing with things you don’t understand and you think a new deck would help? You must be crazy,” he told her.
At that, she picked up the deck and threw it in the garbage. “No more fortunes told today. I’m going home. Don’t anyone grab that deck out of the trash. I’ll be back tomorrow.”
The people there were disappointed but went to other fortune tellers in the building and got their fortunes told. However, there was a surprise about to occur when everyone went home for the evening.
Suddenly the, deck began to move on its own. It arose out of the trash on its own and settled on the floor, It began to slink off into a dark corner and hide in a crack in the wall. “I will show them tomorrow--ha, ha, ha! They shouldn’t mess with me!” the Devil spoke from within the crack. The lights faded out to darkness and the Devil plotted his future tricks.
That is the end of The Cursed Tarot Deck. Thanks for reading.
